Is It Time to Upgrade to the New iPad?

The death of Apple's beloved founder, Steve Jobs made people think that it was the end of the road for the company. Many people were skeptical that it would be able to continue what he started for the company considering that he was the brains behind every successful product launched. These doubts were dispelled after the successful launch of the new iPad. It shows that the company is here to stay and will continue to produce and market new products that will revolutionize the way things are done.
Tablet PCs were not new to the computing industry. Actually, it was Microsoft who first launched a similar product years ago. However, this product failed to fly and capture the interest of the market so its life was short-lived and it was shelved. The launch of iPad several years ago paved the way for tablet PCs to become mainstream. Not a lot of people, especially the skeptics, thought that the demand for a product like this would boom. Now, there are a lot of other tablet PCs in the market. There is already a third version of the iPad called the new iPad and you see a lot of stores sell used iPad.
There are obvious differences between the new iPad and the old iPad 2. People now call it old iPad even though it was launched a little over a year ago. The most obvious difference would be that the screen of the new iPad is much better than the old iPad. Apple used the Retina Display screen on the new iPad to upgrade the screen's resolution. It now boasts of 20148 x 1536 pixels, which is four times better than the old iPad. The pictures on the new iPad are clearer and have more vivid colors when placed side by side with the iPad 2.
The processor of the new iPad is also faster as it is a 1GHz dual-core Apple A5X. Actually, there are 2 dual core chips placed in it, technically making it a quad core. Having this much processing power will make the tablet respond much faster to commands and be able to do tasks smoothly without any lags. This alone will make you want to sell your iPad first generation.
For those who love taking pictures, you will appreciate that the new iPad already has a 5-mega-pixel camera installed in it. You will be able to take clearer pictures because it also has an autofocus function already built-in. This is a big improvement from the 0.7-megapixel camera of the iPad 2 which took low-resolution pictures only good for digital forms and not very good for printing.
Apple is enjoying its status as the most sought-after tablet PC maker in the market. People line up early waiting for the stores to open in order to be the first to get their hands on the iPad. Now, people are willing to sell iPad 2 in order to get the new iPad. If you are one of those people who are wishing one for your own, it is time to get the new iPad because the new features are worth the price difference between the brand new iPad 2 and the new iPad 3.
